VH1 Greenlights Shows With Gotti, Whitestarr

VH1 has lined up a slew of music programming to debut early next year, including "Irv Gotti Project," "Man Band" and "ego trip's White Rapper Show." Eve, Cisco Adler and Queen Latifah are among the artists set to appear in the new reality shows.

Three other series have also been greenlit -- "Whitestarr Project," "Rags to Riches" and "Bridging the Gap." The shows will all fall under the title, "VH1's Wild Life," similar to the network's "Celebreality" programming.

"Irv Gotti Project" will track the Murder Inc. founder, who was acquitted of money laundering charges after a 3-year federal investigation, as he attempts to revive the Inc. The show is executive-produced by Mark Cronin and Cris Abrego, the duo behind "Flavor of Love" and "Surreal Life."

Meanwhile, "ego trip's White Rapper Show," hosted by rapper Michael "MC Serch" Berrin of 3rd Bass and producer Prince Paul, endeavors to find the next great white rapper, and "Man Band" will bring together a host of former boy band members, including Bryan Abrams of Color Me Badd, Chris Kirkpatrick of 'N Sync and Jeff Timmons of 98 Degrees, to create a new pop group.

Elsewhere, "Whitestarr Project" trails rocker Cisco Adler and his band Whitestarr, "Rags to Riches" sees a musician or actor traveling with a viewer to the artist's childhood hometown, and "Bridging the Gap" unites two established artists to record a track together. Eve and Queen Latifah are featured in the first installment.
