OutKast's "Hay Ya!" had ruled the Hot 100 for nine weeks, and was displaced last week by the duo's "The Way You Move" featuring Sleepy Brown. That track drops to No. 3 this week, while "Hey Ya!" falls 3-5.
In addition to taking control of the Hot 100, "Slow Jamz" also ends the nine-week run of Alicia Keys' "You Don't Know My Name" at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks tally, which falls to No. 5. "Slow Jamz" is also No. 1 for a ninth-straight week atop the Hot Rap Tracks chart.
Close behind "Slow Jamz" on the Hot 100 is Usher's "Yeah!" featuring Lil Jon and Ludacris, which jumps 4-2. Beyoncé's "Me Myself & I" is also making strides, with a 6-4 gain on the tally.
This week the top 10 once again makes way for Ruben Studdard, whose "Sorry 2004" scoots 13-10. It's the second top-10 Hot 100 hit for the "American Idol" winner; his debut solo single, "Flying Without Wings," peaked at No. 2 last June.
Chingy's "One Call Away" featuring J. Weav is the Hot 100's fastest-growing track at radio and soars 21-11 this week. Each of Chingy's three singles to appear on the Hot 100 has pierced the top-20. Previously "Right Thurr" peaked at No. 2 and "Holidae Inn" featuring Ludacris and Snoop Dogg reached No. 3.
Eamon's "F**k It (I Don't Want You Back)" is the Hot 100's fastest-growing track at retail for the ninth consecutive week. In its 12th week on the chart, the anti-Valentine's Day ballad rises 18-16.
In the week following her controversial Super Bowl appearance, radio embraced Janet Jackson's "Just a Little While," the first single from her upcoming Virgin album, "Damita Jo." The sudden burst in airplay puts the song at No. 47 on the Hot 100, which is the week's highest debut.
Other notable entries on the Hot 100 include Sleepy Brown's "I Can't Wait" featuring OutKast (No. 58), Kenny Chesney & Uncle Kracker's "When the Sun Goes Down" (No. 70), Mario Winans' "I Don't Wanna Know" featuring P. Diddy & Eve (No. 72) and Rascal Flatts' "Mayberry" (No. 74).
In the same week that its latest album, "A Crow Left of the Murder" (Immortal/Epic), bows at No. 2 on The Billboard 200, Incubus' "Megalomaniac" jumps 3-1 on the Modern Rock Tracks tally. The cut displaces Offspring's "Hit That," which falls to No. 4. Nickelback's "Figured You Out" leads Billboard's Mainstream Rock Tracks chart for a fifth week.
