'Totally Hits 2002' Packs In 20 Top Tracks

The fifth volume in the BMG/Warner Bros. "Totally Hits" compilation series will consist of tracks from the likes of Alicia Keys, Pink, P.O.D., Outkast, Default, and more. Due June 4, "Totally Hits 2002" pulls together 20 tracks, most of which have appeared in the upper echelon of Billboard's charts.

Highlights of the set include Keys' "A Woman's Worth," which peaked at No. 3 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart and No. 7 on the Hot 100, and Fat Joe's "What's Luv?" featuring Ashanti, which is currently No. 2 on the Hot 100 and No. 3 on the R&B/Hip-Hop tally. Also included is Tweet's No. 1 R&B/Hip-Hop track "Oops (Oh My)," Pink's Hot 100 No. 4 hit "Get the Party Started," and the Calling's "Wherever You Will Go," which peaked at No. 5 on the Hot 100.

Together the four previous volumes in the "Totally Hits" series -- released by BMG and Warner Bros.-associated labels Arista, Elektra, and Atlantic -- have sold 5 million copies in the U.S., and all have been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America for U.S. shipments of 1 million copies. The last volume, "Totally Hits 2001," earned the highest chart placement of the series, debuting last October at No. 3 on The Billboard 200.

In related news, Sony, Universal, EMI, and Jive, partners in the popular "NOW That's What I Call Music!" series, are launching an R&B/hip-hop brand, "Off the Hook." The inaugural album in that series is due May 21, with distribution by Columbia. The 20-track set will include Jennifer Lopez's "I'm Real" (Murder Remix featuring Ja Rule), B2K's "Uh Huh," India.Arie's "Video," Mr. Cheeks' "Lights, Camera, Action," and Glenn Lewis' "Don't You Forget It."

The "Now" compilation line debuted in the U.S. in 1998; its nine albums have sold nearly 25 million units. "Now 10" is set for a July release.
