The Darkness Keeps Rocking On New CD

U.K. rock act the Darkness has nailed down the track list for its second album, "One Way Ticket to Hell... and Back." As previously reported, the set is Nov. 28 in the United Kingdom via Must Destroy/Atlantic and the next day in North America. The single "One Way Ticket" was premiered yesterday (Oct. 3) on U.K. radio outlets and is also streaming on the band's Myspace.com page.

Very much in the vein of the Darkness' breakthrough single "I Believe in a Thing Called Love," the track crams in everything from cowbell, heavily layered backing vocals, acoustic guitar, piano and straight-from-the-'70s studio effects to singer Justin Hawkins' trademark falsetto and Meat Loaf-worthy theatrics.

"One Way Ticket" will be released commercially Nov. 14 in the United Kingdom. It is already available as a ringtone via the band's Web site.

Here is the track list for "One Way Ticket to Hell... and Back":

"One Way Ticket"
"Knockers"
"Is It Just Me?"
"Dinner Lady Arms"
"Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time"
"Hazel Eyes"
"Bald"
"Girlfriend"
"English Country Garden"
"Blind Man"
