This year will mark the event's first foray into a two-day show. "By adding another day we felt we could offer the opportunity to enjoy live bands like the Cure, who are legends in our culture, while keeping true to our core audience and introducing them to something new," says producer Russell Faibisch.
Two-day passes and VIP tickets went on sale yesterday (Dec. 20) via Ultra's Web site.
The 2006 edition of Ultra boasted performances from the Killers, the Prodigy and Junkie XL. It grossed more than $2.2 million from paid attendance of 30,385, good enough for the No. 7 position on Billboard's Top 10 Festivals chart for the year.
