'The Barbershop' Boasts Fresh Cuts

Music by Fabolous, P. Diddy, Jagged Edge, Glenn Lewis, and Amel Larrieux will grace the upcoming Epic soundtrack to "The Barbershop." Due Aug. 27, the set is led by the single "Stingy" by Ginuwine, which is already No. 42 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart.

"Trade It All," a cut by Fabolous with P. Diddy and Jagged Edge, has already been tapped to be the soundtrack's second single. Veteran video director Chris Robinson (Alicia Keys, Busta Rhymes) recently completed shooting a supporting clip for the track in Los Angeles.

Other artists who contribute tracks to the album are Ghostface Killah with Ruff Endz, Best Man, Jordan Brown, Nazkar, Lil Kano, Collin, and Jhene featuring Lil Fizz of B2K

As previously reported, "The Barbershop" stars Cedric The Entertainer and Sean Patrick Thomas, as well as rappers Eve and Ice Cube. The MGM film is schedule to open Sept. 13 in U.S. theaters.
