Susan Boyle's "I Dreamed a Dream" (Syco Music/Sony Music Entertainment) has started a second week at the U.K. album chart summit, taking its two-week sales past 700,000 units. Peter Kay and his All Star Band's "Official Children In Need Medley" (Epic/Sony Music Entertainment) secured a second week atop the singles survey.

Boyle's debut album was followed by two new entries last night (Dec. 6), with Irish pop regulars Westlife in at No. 2 with "Where We Are" (S/Sony Music Entertainment) and Take That's live set "The Greatest Day - The Circus Live" (Polydor/Universal) at No. 3.

The top five was completed by JLS' self-titled Epic/Sony debut, down two at No. 4, and Black Eyed Peas' "The E.N.D. (The Energy Never Dies)" (Interscope/Universal), falling 3-5. The Coldstream Guards Band's "Heroes" (Decca/Universal) debuted at No. 13 and Andrea Bocelli's "My Christmas" (Sugar/Decca/Universal) at No. 18.

Kay's charity single grabbed another week at the top ahead of a 6-2 climb for Rihanna's "Russian Roulette" (Def Jam/Universal), while Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" (Interscope/Universal) posted another climb on the new Official Charts Company listing, 5-3. Alicia Keys arrived at No. 8 with "Doesn't Mean Anything" (J/Sony Music Entertainment) and Timbaland featuring Nelly Furtado at No. 9 with "Morning After Dark" (Interscope/Universal).

The other feature of the new singles chart was the traditional re-emergence of many perennial Christmas titles, selling yet again as the holiday season approaches. "Fairytale of New York" (Warner Bros.), by the Pogues featuring Kirsty MacColl, became a U.K. top 40 hit for a remarkable seventh separate time, and fifth year in a row, climbing 58-31.

Mariah Carey may have crashed out of the top 40, 19-45, with her current single "I Want To Know What Love Is" (Def Jam/Universal), but "All I Want For Christmas" (Columbia/Sony BMG) climbed 51-29, for its fourth top 40 showing and third in a row. The lower reaches of the top 75 also welcomed back holiday recurrents by Wham!, Slade, Shakin' Stevens, Wizzard and Band Aid.

Robbie Williams is in a third week at the top of Billboard's European Albums chart with "Reality Killed The Video Star" (Virgin/EMI). Black Eyed Peas had the rare distinction of replacing themselves at No. 1 on European Hot 100 Singles, as "Meet Me Halfway" (Interscope/Universal) moved 6-1, passing "I Gotta Feeling" going in the other direction, 1-3.
