Sugarcult, Hawthorne Heights Take Action

Modern rock acts Sugarcult and Hawthorne Heights will lead a rotating slate of artists through next year's Take Action! Tour which will raise funds and awareness of the National Hopeline Network. The organization maintains a suicide prevention and crisis hotline (1-800-SUICIDE) and the Youth America Hotline! (1-877-YOUTHLINE), a peer-to-peer crisis service.

Sponsored by Hurley International surf/skate clothing company, the annual tour is an outgrowth of Take Action! compilations, the latest released in October via the independent Sub City label.

The club tour will kick off Feb. 2 in Washington, D.C., and comprise 24 dates through a March 11 show in Sayreville, N.J. The tour will also boast appearances by Head Automatica, Plain White T's, Hopesfall, the Early November, Maxeen, Melee and Anberlin on select dates.

HHA limited amount of pre-sale tickets will be made available tomorrow (Dec. 10) through the tour's Web site. During the pre-sale, the 41-track compilation will be available for just $4.50.
