Comments

Soul chanteuse Lisa Stansfield makes her film debut in the comedy "Swing," which opens today in the U.K. The movie, directed by Nick Mead, also stars Hugo Speer of "The Full Monty" fame and features such familiar stars to British audiences as Tom Bell, Rita Tushingham, and comedian Alexei Sayle, plus a role for E Street Band member Clarence Clemons.

Stansfield's 15-song soundtrack to the film, on which she sings standards such as "Ain't Nobody Here But Us Chickens," "Our Love Is Here To Stay" and "The Best Is Yet To Come" in addition to new material, was released in the U.K. by BMG Soundtracks.
