Sevendust Set To 'Rock The Boat'

Modern rock outfit Sevendust will headline the fourth Cutty Whiskey Rock the Boat tour, which kicks off Wednesday (April 3) and is currently booked through May 23 in Kansas City, Mo. The trek will feature support from Reveille, Soil, and Breaking Point at various stops (see itinerary below). Last year's Rock The Boat tour was headlined by Cold; past headliners have included Godsmack, Fuel, 3 Doors Down, and Our Lady Peace.

In conjunction with the tour, Cutty is sponsoring the Party Like a Rock Star sweepstakes, which can be entered at each venue and via the company's official Web site. One winner and three friends will receive a four-day, three-night trip to Los Angeles, a new wardrobe, a private party at the Playboy mansion, and spending money.

The trek will briefly pause in late April to allow Sevendust to play three Florida dates with such acts as Kid Rock, Rob Zombie, Puddle Of Mudd, and Adema. Following the tour's conclusion, Sevendust will hit the third Rolling Rock Town Fair, set for July 27 in Latrobe, Pa.

Sevendust is touring in support of its latest TVT set, "Animosity," which debuted at No. 28 on The Billboard 200 and has sold 342,000 copies in the U.S. to date, according to SoundScan. In addition to Rock the Boat, Soil is bound for a second stage slot on the upcoming Ozzfest tour in support of its J Records debut, "Scars." Reveille is out behind last year's "Bleed the Sky" (Elektra), while Breaking Point is supporting its Wind-Up debut, "Coming of Age."
