Taylor Swift Brings Out James Taylor, Selena Gomez in NYC: Video

The 21-year-old brought out James Taylor and Selena Gomez at her concert Tuesday night at New York's Madison Square Garden.

S elena Gomez canceled two holiday concerts over the weekend in what her rep describes as a "family emergency." According to E! Online, Gomez was in the audience at Power 106's Cali Christmas show in Los Angeles on Friday night when she learned that her mother, Mandy Teefey, suffered a miscarriage.

The 19-year-old singer and her rep have not confirmed the report. Last month, Gomez announced on Twitter that her mom, 35, and step-father, Brian Teefey, were expecting their first child and the singer's first sibling. "My mommys carrying my baby brother or sister :) I'm the happiest girl in the world!" she said. The message was paired with a photo of the happy couple.

Gomez was scheduled to perform Saturday at the B96 Jingle Bash in Chicago and Sunday at the 106.1 KISS FM Jingle Bell Bash in Seattle, which was completely canceled in part because another act, OneRepublic, also pulled out.

KISS FM said on its website that they were informed of the family emergency on Saturday and decided to postpone the show until the new year.

"Her family is of the utmost importance to us, and we want to respect her space during an important time with her family," the station said, adding that a re-scheduled date will be announced on Jan. 6.

The "Who Says" singer, who is dating Justin Bieber, is scheduled to perform during MTV's New Year's Eve special. The next concert dates listed on her website are not until late January.
