Con-drag-ulations seem to be in order for RuPaul, as the entertainer and diva celebrated both the high-rated finale to her Logo reality competition series, "RuPaul's Drag Race," last week and the release of her fifth studio album, "Glamazon."

The set's release on Monday, April 25, was timed to coincide with that night's third-season finale of the diva's successful Logo TV reality competition show, "RuPaul's Drag Race." According to Nielsen, it was the network's highest rated telecast to-date in the men 18-49 and women 25-54 demos and drew 585,000 total viewers.

The so-far digitally-exclusive "Glamazon" sashays onto the Dance/Electronic Albums chart at No. 11, with 2,000 copies sold. While it may seem like a small number, it marks Ru's best sales frame since December of 1997. Combined, the tracks on the new Lucian Piane-produced album sold 6,000 downloads, led by "Superstar," which moved 3,000.

Via Twitter on May 3, RuPaul announced plans for a number of in-store signing events at Best Buy in Union Square in New York City and Amoeba Records in San Francisco and Los Angeles. 

RuPaul first strutted onto the Billboard charts on Dec. 12, 1992, when Ru's likely most-well-known single "Supermodel (You Better Work)" debuted at No. 46 on the Dance Club Songs chart, on its way to a No. 2 peak. It was the first of so-far 13 club hits for the entertainer.

"Glamazon" is RuPaul's third set to chart on the Dance/Electronic tally, following 2004's "Red Hot" (No. 4) and 2009's "Champion" (No. 12). Ru's first two albums, 1993's "Supermodel of the World" and 1996's "Foxy Lady" were released previous to the launch of the chart. However, they peaked at Nos. 1 and 15 on our Heatseekers tally.
