RCA/Sony Music Entertainment's British teenage pop breakthrough act Diana Vickers followed her No. 1 debut on the singles chart of two weeks ago, "Once," with a bestselling start for her first album.

"Songs from the Tainted Cherry Tree" debuted at No. 1 on the Official Chart Co's new U.K. sales charts last night (May 10).

Roll Deep's "Good Time" (Relentless/Virgin/EMI) started a second week atop the singles survey.

Vickers' first album outsold all rivals including last week's No. 1, Plan B's "The Defamation of Strickland Banks" (679/Atlantic/Warner Music), which fell back into runner-up spot. Another former bestseller, AC/DC's "Iron Man 2" soundtrack (Columbia/Sony Music Entertainment), held at No. 3 as Usher's "Raymond V. Raymond" (LaFace/Sony Music Entertainment) dipped 2-4. There was a healthy No. 8 start for Lady Antebellum's U.S. multi-million-seller "Need You Now" (Capitol/EMI), as its title track single rose 28-21.

Roll Deep's single moved into a second week as the singles champion in an unchanged top three, ahead of "Omg" by Usher featuring will.i.am and Plan B's "She Said." Pendulum's "Watercolour" (Warner Bros./Warner Music) opened at No. 4 and "Candy" (Future/Mercury/Universal) by Aggro Santos featuring Kimberly Wyatt at No. 5. "Dirty Picture" (4th & Broadway/Universal Island) by Taio Cruz featuring Ke$ha rose 10-6.

The "Iron Man 2" soundtrack is in a second week atop Billboard's European Albums chart for A/DC, while "Alors On Danse" (Mosaert/Vertigo) by Belgian singer-songwriter Stromae is spending a sixth non-consecutive week at No. 1 on European Hot 100 Singles.
