British pop perennial Robbie Williams makes a winning return to Billboard's European Albums chart, debuting at No. 1 with "Reality Killed The Video Star" (Virgin/EMI). On European Hot 100 Singles, Black Eyed Peas scores another chart-topper, moving 2-1 with "I Gotta Feeling" (Interscope/Universal).

Despite selling a weighty 238,000 copies in the United Kingdom, a huge improvement on the 147,000 start for its 2006 predecessor "Rudebox," Williams' new album is denied top spot there, missing out by just 1,517 units to pop band and "X Factor" graduate JLS' self-titled Epic/Sony Music Entertainment debut. "JLS" is new at No. 8 overall.

"Reality Killed The Video Star" does, however, score No. 1 debuts in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Holland, also arriving at No. 2 in Italy and the Czech Republic, No. 3 in Denmark, No. 6 in Norway and Ireland and No. 7 in Portugal. "Rudebox" had three weeks at the pan-European summit three years ago.

Michael Jackson's "This Is It" (Epic/Sony Music Entertainment) slips to No. 2 after two weeks atop European Albums, falling from the top in Holland and Sweden, but is still No. 1 in France, Italy, Hungary and the Belgian region of Wallony, and climbs 2-1 in neighboring Flanders. Bon Jovi's "The Circle" (Mercury/Universal) is down 2-3 overall, falling 1-3 in Germany and Switzerland but debuting at No. 4 in Holland, No. 5 in Portugal and No. 11 in the Czech Republic and racing 32-7 in Finland.

Michael Bublé falls 3-4 on the aggregate listing with "Crazy Love" (Reprise/Warner Music), also falling 1-2 in Ireland, and Rammstein's "Liebe Ist Für Alle Da" (Motor/Universal) is the fourth consecutive title to drop one place on European Albums. It's down 4-5 but holds at No. 2 behind Williams in Germany.

In its 23rd chart week, Black Eyed Peas' "The E.N.D. (The Energy Never Dies)" (Interscope/Universal) is back up 9-6, its best ranking since September. It's up 12-5 in Wallony, 12-8 in Portugal and 10-5 in the United Kingdom, where "Meet Me Halfway" becomes the group's third consecutive No.1 from the album, aiding a 6-5 climb on European Hot 100 Singles. Previous release "I Gotta Feeling" hits the top of that chart with the help of a 2-1 climb in Italy.

Sting is down one place to No. 7 on European Albums with "If On A Winter's Night" (Deutsche Grammophon), but climbs 2-1 in Poland and 11-9 in Germany. With the JLS set new at No. 8, Foo Fighters' "Greatest Hits" (RCA/Sony Music Entertainment) falls 5-9, while Snow Patrol's new compilation "Up To Now" (Fiction/Polydor/Universal) arrives at No. 10. It starts at No. 3 in the United Kingdom on sales of 70,000 and at No. 5 in Holland and Ireland.
