Rihanna, Shop Boyz, Fergie Locked In On Hot 100

Comments

For a second consecutive week, the top three slots on the Billboard Hot 100 are unchanged. Rihanna's "Umbrella" is No. 1 there for a fifth week, followed by Shop Boyz' "Party Like a Rockstar" at No. 2 and Fergie's "Big Girls Don't Cry" at No. 3. Plain White T's' "Delilah" inches up 5-4, while T-Pain's former No. 1, "Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin')," drops 4-5.

The No. 6-9 slots are also the same as last week, with Maroon 5's "Makes Me Wonder" at No. 6, Avril Lavigne's "Girlfriend" at No. 7, Justin Timberlake's "Summer Love" at No. 8 and Amy Winehouse's "Rehab" at No. 9. Fabolous' "Make Me Better" featuring Ne-Yo rises 13-10 as the fastest growing track at radio.

The chart's greatest digital gainer is Timbaland's "The Way I Are" featuring Keri Hilson, which leaps 40-18. The cut also enjoys the biggest percentage gain on the Hot 100 Airplay chart (40%), propelling it 66-39.

Louisiana teen Hurricane Chris explodes 85-24 with "A Bay Bay," fueled by the top debut on Hot Digital Songs (No. 27, 35,000 downloads). The cut is also No. 12 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

Nickelback's "Rockstar" re-enters the Hot 100 at No. 47, five months after its last appearance on the chart. The song previously peaked at No. 54. The chart's top debut at No. 61 comes from Faith Hill's "Lost," a new song tipped to appear on an upcoming greatest hits album.

Fellow country hitmaker Kenny Chesney is new at No. 65 with "Never Wanted Nothing More," followed by Paul McCartney at No. 69 with "Dance Tonight."

On Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, Fantasia's "When I See U" moves 2-1 to earn her first chart-topper on this list. The "American Idol" winner previously peaked here at No. 2 with "Truth Is" and No. 3 with "Free Yourself."

Montgomery Gentry's "Lucky Man" zooms 3-1 on Hot Country Songs, its third No. 1. The chart has seen unusual turnover at No. 1 of late, with a new chart-topper each week since the June 16 issue.

Linkin Park's "What I've Done" is finally dislodged from the top of the Mainstream Rock chart by Ozzy Osbourne's "I Don't Wanna Stop." But "What I've Done" still remains in control on the Modern Rock tally, where it is No. 1 for a 12th week.
