Among the other favorites featured are "Just Like Honey" and "You Trip Me Up" from 1985's "Psychocandy"; "April Skies" and "Happy When It Rains" from 1987's "Darklands"; and "Sometimes Always" from 1994's "Stoned and Dethroned." The latter track, featuring Mazzy Star's Hope Sandoval on vocals, reached No. 4 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart.
Other modern rock radio staples that can be found on "21 Singles" include "Far Gone and Out" (No. 3), "Head On" (No. 2), and "Blues From a Gun" (No. 1), the latter two of which can be found on the 1992 set "Honey's Dead."
JAMC, led by brothers Jim and William Reid, split for good in 1999 after a one-off album for Sub Pop, the previous year's "Munki." Jim now fronts the group Freeheat with former JAMC member Ben Lurie.
