Rembrandts Get 'Lost' On J-Bird

Danny Wilde and Phil Solem, collectively known as the Rembrandts, will release a new album, "Lost Together," Oct. 2 via Connecticut-based J-Bird Records. The 12-track album, which was available for a short time online via download site MP3.com, is the duo's first since 1995's "L.P." (EastWest).

The Rembrandts are perhaps best known for the "L.P." track "I'll Be There For You." The song, which doubles as the theme of NBC's long-running hit sitcom "Friends," was tacked onto the album as an afterthought yet went on to top Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart, and peak at No. 17 on The Billboard Hot 100. The album peaked at No. 23 on The Billboard 200.

The duo had an earlier hit with "Just the Way it is, Baby," which peaked at No. 14 on the Hot 100 in April 1991. That track came from their 1991 self-titled debut album, which topped out at No. 88 on The Billboard 200.

As previously reported, Boy George's More Protein label recently signed with J-Bird for U.S. distribution and promotion.
