Several newly announced inductees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame have issued gleeful reactions, including members of The Faces, The Beastie Boys and a patriotic message marking Pearl Harbor Day from the current incarnation of Guns N' Roses.

Multiple injuries to lead singer Anthony Kiedis' right foot have forced the Red Hot Chili Peppers to postpone their upcoming U.S. tour in support of the funk-rock band's 10th studio album, "I'm With You."

A spokesman for the California foursome says the 49-year-old frontman recently underwent surgery to remove "crushed sesamoid bone and correct a detached flexor tendon" in his foot. He's expected to make a full recovery, but the time away from the stage means the band must push the start of their tour -- originally set for Jan. 20 in Sunrise, Fla. Now, the tour will kick off at the St. Pete Times Forum in St. Petersburg on March 29. All dates can be found on the band's website.

Kiedis was spotted with a cast on his right foot at a Lakers game on Jan. 8. The cause of his injury isn't entirely clear, but the singer told the Los Angeles Times in August that he has performed injured in the past. "I stayed out on tour with broken bones in my feet from jumping off the bass drum, which is kind of agonizing," he said of the band's last tour.

A spokesman did not respond to Billboard as of press time.

The first leg of the tour ends on April 12 in Memphis at the FedEx Forum and kicks back into gear Aug. 11 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. In between, the band is expected at the April 14 induction ceremony of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The band will be inducted along with Guns N Roses, Faces and Beastie Boys, among others. Honorees typically perform a short set and join in a All-Star jam session at the annual event.

"I'm With You," which follows the 2006 double-album "Stadium Arcadium," debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart upon its August release.
