"I'm With You" thus continues a sequence that began with the Chili Peppers' 2002 album "By The Way" and continued with 2004's "Live In Hyde Park" and 2006's "Stadium Arcadium." French "superstar DJ" David Guetta's red-hot run in the U.K. market continued with a No. 2 debut and 48,000 sales for the album "Nothing But The Beat" (Positiva/Virgin/EMI), while the single "Turn Me On," featuring Nicki Minaj, arrived at No. 20. Guetta also dipped 10-18 with "Little Bad Girl" featuring Taio Cruz and Ludacris, climbed 36-32 with "Where Them Girls At" featuring Flo Rida and Nicki Minaj, fell 35-51 with "Night of Your Life" featuring Jennifer Hudson, debuted at No. 56 with "Without You" featuring Usher, and re-entered the top 75 at No. 73 with "Who's That Chick" featuring Rihanna.

Last week's bestselling artist album, Will Young's "Echoes" album (RCA/Sony Music Entertainment), dropped to No. 3, Adele's "21" (XL Recordings) 3-4 and Joe McElderry's "Classic" (UCJ/Universal) 2-5. Londoners Bombay Bicycle Club debuted at a career-best No. 6 with "A Different Kind of Fix" (Universal Island), improving two places on last year's peak for "Flaws."

Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter 4" (Cash Money/Universal Island) opened at No. 8 and Dolly Parton's "Better Day" (Sony Music) at No. 9, her highest-ever U.K. chart ranking for a studio release. There's still no shifting "Now! That's What I Call Music 79" (EMI/Virgin/UMTV) on the compilation chart, which it leads for a sixth week.

Example's hot run on the singles survey perfectly sets up the U.K. release today (Monday) of his third studio album "Playing in the Shadows." "Moves Like Jagger" (Octone/A&M/Universal), by Maroon 5 featuring Christina Aguilera, climbed 3-2 as last week's No. 1, Olly Murs' "Heart Skips A Beat" (Syco Music/Epic/Sony), featuring Rizzle Kicks, fell to No. 3. Suffolk-born singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran's "You Need Me, I Don't Need You" (Asylum/Warner Music) opened at No. 4, just as his previous, debut hit "The A Team" fell 9-13 after 11 consecutive weeks in the top ten. Bajan four-piece pop act Cover Drive entered at No. 9 with "Lick Ya Down" (Geffen/Universal).
