Rascal Flatts have announced their signing to Big Machine Records for the release of forthcoming album "Nothing Like This". "Why Wait," the album's first single, was serviced to radio today to precede the November 16 release of the disc.

Big Machine Label Group President/CEO Scott Borchetta said in a press release, "Rascal Flatts are the biggest band in Country Music and we're honored and thrilled to have them join the Big Machine Records family.  While they are celebrating their first ten years together I selfishly can't wait to start on their next ten years."

The country trio, which has sold 19.8 million albums according to Nielsen SoundScan, was previously signed to Disney-owned Lyric Street Records, which shut operations earlier this year. Big Machine's roster also includes Taylor Swift, Steel Magnolia, Jack Ingram and Trisha Yearwood.
