We've heard of soul trains before, but R. Kelly is about to set sail on a soul cruise.
The R&B star will host the "Love Letter" cruise, a Caribbean jaunt scheduled for October 2012.
The six-day cruise, aboard Carnival's Destiny ship, will span six days and head from Miami to the Bahamas and back. In addition to Kelly concerts, the cruise will include a fashion show, salsa lessons and karaoke, among other activities.
For those who can't make the trip, it may not be the last: in his tweet announcing the cruise, Kelly dubbed it the "first annual" event.
Kelly, who's putting the finishing touches on his memoir, "Soula Coaster: The Diary of Me" has abstained from performing in recent weeks as he's recovered from throat surgery. The autobiography is expected next spring.
