Presidents Of USA Offer Icing On Cake

Columbia Records will release "Pure Frosting," the final album from the Presidents Of The United States Of America, on March 10. The 13-track set will contain new songs "Love Delicatessen," "Mobile Home," "and "Sunshine," as well as a live version of "Lump" and a studio take of the Buggles' "Video Killed The Radio Star." The Presidents, who played their farewell show Saturday in Seattle, announced their break-up last December. The split was attributed to singer/bassist Chris Ballew, who wanted to spend more time being a father and husband and to pursue other musical interests.
