Ponce, Pires To Play Latin Sports Awards

Carlos Ponce and Alexandre Pires will be among those on hand to perform during the inaugural Premios Fox Sports Awards. Set for tomorrow (Dec. 17) at the New Radisson Hotel Miami, the event will be televised Dec. 21 in the U.S. on Fox Sports en Espanol, and on Fox Sports Latin America in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The Premios Fox Sports event will honor Hispanic and Latin American athletes. Also performing will be Patricia Manterola and Roselyn Sanchez.

Others scheduled to appear include Miss USA Susie Castillo, Miss Universe 1986 Barbara Palacios, Lucia Mendez, Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez, Esteban Loaiza, Adrian Fernandez, Vicente Fernandez, Mary Joe Fernandez, Juan Sebastian Veron, Carlos Valderrama, Mauricio Cienfuegos and Carlos Alberto Tevez.
