Plenty of fans were surprised when Christina Aguilera was arrested this morning for public intoxication -- and they weren't alone. Hours later, P!nk indirectly alluded to the arrest on Twitter, observing that between her fellow turn-of-the-millennium pop stars Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and herself, she's the only one who hasn't run afoul of the law.

"Out of Myself, Britney, and Christina- didn't everyone think I was gonna be the troublemaker?" P!nk, who is pregnant with her first child, joked. "LOOK MA!!! No CUFFS!!!"

Christina Aguilera's Arrest Explained

Spears has never been arrested, of course, but the pop star has certainly been through her fair share of courtroom drama. In January 2008, Spears lost custody of her two sons after refusing to hand them to ex-husband Kevin Federline and being hospitalized twice that month. A court-ordered conservatorship putting Spears' personal and financial affairs under the control of her father and lawyers is still in effect

Aguilera's public fall from grace began nearly a year ago, when her critically-panned album "Bionic" debuted to disappointing sales. In October, the singer divorced her husband Jordan Bratman and began dating Matthew Rutler, a set assistant on her film "Burlesque." This February, Aguilera was ridiculed for flubbing the lyrics to "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the Super Bowl, and while she appeared in top vocal form for the Grammys' Aretha Franklin tribute a week later, the singer stumbled and nearly fell onstage after the performance.

Aguilera and Rutler were arrested early Tuesday morning in West Hollywood after the couple was pulled over and Rutler was determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol. Aguilera was a passenger in the car, and deputies determined that the singer was intoxicated and "not capable of taking care of herself," according to an LAPD Sheriff's Department spokesperson.
