Paramore Offers New Songs Through 'Singles Club'

Pop rockers Paramore will release three new songs later this year via the Paramore Singles Club, which offers a variety of special bundles, including t-shirts and 7" single records.

As Paramore gears up for its fourth album, the Tennessee alt-rockers aren't leaving their fans out in the cold.

The trio, which lost members Josh and Zac Farro in December 2010, soldiered forward on Monday with the release of "Hello Cold World," the second track in the band's "Singles Club."

The new track, which features the group's trademark guitar crunch and a strident vocal performance from singer Hayley Williams, deals with the changing expectations of adulthood: "22 is like the worst idea that I have ever had," Williams sings, adding, "It's not the way you plan it / It's how you make it happen."

The group launched the singles series with "Renegade," a Rob Cavallo-produced track that emerged from the sessions for "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" soundtrack effort "Monster." A final track from the club, "In the Mourning," is due Dec. 5. The songs are available exclusively through the band's website rather than digital retailers such as iTunes or Amazon.

Paramore is expected to return with a follow-up to 2009's "Brand New Eyes" early next year.

"We're hoping to have the record out early next year, so hopefully we'll start to record it at the end of 2011," Williams told the BBC's Radio 1 in June. "We're about to start writing it."
