The 2008 Vans Warped Tour will feature performances by Paramore, Gym Class Heroes, Jack's Mannequin, Against Me!, Pennywise, Reel Big Fish, Cobra Starship, Every Time I Die, Angels and Airwaves, Aggrolites, As I Lay Dying, the All-American Rejects and the Academy Is..., among many others.
The 14th edition of the 46-date tour begins June 20 at the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds in Pomona, Calif., and runs through Aug. 17 at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.
Other acts scheduled to perform include All That Remains, Dr. Manhattan, Relient K, Say Anything, Norma Jean, Story of the Year, the Color Fred, the Pink Spiders and the Vandals. A full list of artists is available at warpedtour.com.
Pre-sale tickets are currently on sale via the site, with prices ranging between $27 and $28.50 (including service fees). Each ticket purchase will include a copy of the Vans Warped Tour 2008 CD compilation, and 25 cents from each ticket sold will benefit the Camp Hollywood Heart charity.
Last year's Vans Warped tour grossed about $18.6 million and sold 622,467 tickets to 45 shows, according to tour founder and producer Kevin Lyman, president of 4fini Productions. The 2007 traveling punk rock festival featured performances by New Found Glory, Bad Religion, Coheed & Cambria, Flogging Molly, Hawthorne Heights, Pennywise, Underoath, the Used, Bayside and Yellowcard, among many others.
