Owl City's former Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper "Fireflies" (Universal Island) climbed to No. 1 on the new U.K. singles chart, while another Island release, Florence and the Machine's debut album "Lungs," started a second week at the summit.

"Fireflies" climbed 2-1 on the new survey, ending Iyaz's two-week run at No. 1 with "Replay" (Reprise/Warner Music). The "Glee" Cast's version of Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'," on Epic/Sony Music Entertainment, climbed 5-3 (the original, on Columbia/Sony, slipped 6-7), while another cover from the hit TV series, "Take A Bow," climbed 43-36. British rapper Example debuted at No. 6 with "Won't Go Quietly" (Data), the follow-up to "Watch The Sun Come Up," which reached No. 19 in the UK last October.

The new top ten also had a 10-8 climb for Alexandra Burke's "Broken Heels" (Syco Music/Sony Music Entertainment), while U.K. pop-soul band JLS raced 32-10 with "One Shot" (Epic/Sony Music Entertainment). The next highest new entry was "Echo" (Fascination/Polydor/Universal) by three-girl pop act (and labelmates of Girls Aloud) Girls Can't Catch, at No. 19.

"Lungs" started a second week at the album peak as Paolo Nutini's "Sunny Side Up" (Atlantic/Warner Music) stayed at No. 2, while Welsh rock band Lostprophets debuted at No. 3 with their fourth studio release "The Betrayed." Justin Bieber's "My World" (Def Jam/Universal) started at No. 4. Its single "One Time" reached No. 11 in the U.K. last week, but now falls back one place.

Lady Gaga maintains the No. 1 spot on Billboard's European Albums chart with "The Fame" (Interscope/Universal), while  labelmate Black Eyed Peas moved 2-1 on Hot 100 Singles  with "Meet Me Halfway."
