Out Hud, 2 Many DJ's Head Brooklyn Benefit

Beat-driven acts Out Hud, 2 Many DJ's, Radio 4, UNKLE and Dan "The Automator" Nakamura's Head Automatica and Handsome Boy Modeling School projects have signed on for an Oct. 4 concert at Brooklyn, N.Y.'s Prospect Park to benefit the environmental group Renewable Brooklyn.

The show, to be held from 3 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the Prospect Park Bandshell, will also feature an art show and a technology exhibition. The concert will be hosted by former Spacehog drummer Johnny Cragg.

Ticket proceeds will be donated to the Brooklyn Center for the Urban Environment, Greenpoint/Williamsburg Waterfront Taskforce, Just Food and Earth Pledge Foundation. Each ticket holder will also be given a Renewable Brooklyn program book featuring environmentally themed photographs and essays.

The show's environment will also largely be renewable/environmentally conscious, with organic food and drink concessions, biodegradable cups and trash-can liners and recycled toilet paper. In addition, the performance venue will be powered by wind energy.
