The Watershed Festival, which was to feature Ronnie Hawkins and the Hawks, Gil Grand and Fred Eaglesmith this weekend in Walkerton, Ontario, has been postponed.
"Watershed has undergone some major changes this year and we appreciate all of your patience," reads a statement on the event's official Web site. "As of now, negotiations are underway to produce the Watershed Festival for all the loyal fans, and to honor previous ticket holders and vouchers. We are committed to producing Watershed this year and showcasing all of our fantastic Canadian talent."
Watershed's problems date back to last year, when the fourth edition of the event was canceled due to sluggish tickets sales from the outbreak of SARS in the greater Toronto area.
