Along with individual sets, the artists will interact with one another on stage, performing together in various combinations. WSM-AM Grand Ole Opry announcer Eddie Stubbs will also be on hand for the shows, which will feature as yet unannounced guest performers.
Nine dates are currently confirmed for the package, which is being produced by Terry Elam of Fitzgerald Hartley. Organizers are shooting for a total of 15 stops, according to a spokesperson for the Grand Ole Opry.
"Our goal is to give fans across the country the chance to sample the best the Opry and Nashville have to offer, inspiring them to visit Music City to witness country music at its finest," says Steve Buchanan, Sr. VP of Gaylord Entertainment Co., owner of the Opry.
Separately, Gill, Loveless and McCoury -- all of who are members of the Grand Ole Opry -- each have lengthy tour itineraries planned over the coming months. At deadline, Howard, who is a frequent guest on the WSM Opry broadcasts from Nashville, had only a handful of confirmed plans.
