Despite the cancellation, award winners have been named, led by Nelly for artist of the year and album of the year for his Fo' Reel/Universal set "Country Grammar." Def Jam was named favorite record label, while the label's Ja Rule took the awards for song and favorite R&B/hip-hop collaboration of the year for "Put it On Me." Winners were chosen via online voting.
The awards were originally scheduled to be handed out May 3 at the Manhattan Center Grand Ballroom in New York.
