OK Go Hits Road With Music, Fountains

In the midst of its maiden headlining club tour, Chicago-based modern rock outfit OK Go touches down tonight (Oct. 11) in Madison, Wis. Currently riding the success of "Get Over It," the highly charged first single from the group's self-titled Capitol debut, OK Go has also announced a trio of November dates with hotly tipped U.K. act the Music, followed by a U.S. trek supporting Fountains Of Wayne.

The foursome -- Damian Kulash (vocals/guitar), Tim Nordwind (bass), Dan Konpka (drums) and Andy Duncan (keyboards/guitar) -- will appear Oct. 18 on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" and in November will film a special live performance for MTV2, slated for broadcast later that month.

Prior to joining the Music, OK Go will join such artists as Box Car Racer, Earshot, Home Town Hero, Greenwheel, Hoobastank, and Everclear for Houston radio station KTBZ's Buzzfest X.

"OK Go" is No. 6 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart this week, while "Get Over It" is No. 27 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart. The Music's self-titled Capitol debut arrives Feb. 11, while Fountains Of Wayne is shopping its as-yet-untitled next album to prospective labels.
