It is presumed the sessions will yield material for Oasis' first studio album since 2002's "Heathen Chemistry," which debuted at No. 23 on The Billboard 200. The group has kept a low profile this year, although guitarists Noel Gallagher and Gem Archer performed the new song "Stop the Clocks" at a surprise show in May in Liverpool.
Oasis' association with Death In Vegas dates back to 2002, when frontman Liam Gallagher sang on the U.K. top-20 single "Scorpio Rising." The cut was later utilized as the title track to Death In Vegas' most recent studio album, released in June via Sanctuary in North America.
