Oasis will enter the recording studio early next year with Death In Vegas' Richard Fearless and Tim Holmes to record some new tracks, according to the U.K. group's official Web site. It is unknown if Fearless and Holmes will remain on board for potential future recording.
It is presumed the sessions will yield material for Oasis' first studio album since 2002's "Heathen Chemistry," which debuted at No. 23 on The Billboard 200. The group has kept a low profile this year, although guitarists Noel Gallagher and Gem Archer performed the new song "Stop the Clocks" at a surprise show in May in Liverpool.
