NORE Snag Swizz Beatz, Pharrell For Indie Album

After testing the reggaeton waters with last year's "N.O.R.E. Y La Familia... Ya Tu Sabe," Queens rapper NORE is going back to basics with "Global Warming 11368," which he will release independently in late summer.

"With my last album, I wanted to let people know that I was Latino too, but with this album I really wanted people to know I haven't lost a step," the MC tells Billboard.com. "I could still rhyme, I could still do great club music, I could still make street classics and I could still do what people love."

"Warming" features production by Scott Storch, Pharrell, Cool & Dre, Swizz Beatz, OZ and the Deacon, Grease, Kyze and Racoon. The latter produced the first single, "Throw Em Under the Bus," which features Jadakiss and Kurupt. Swizz, Pharrell, Bun B, Tony Sunshine and T-Pain make guest appearances as well.

Other noteworthy tracks on the album are "Letter to Noriega," in which NORE raps through a letter he's written to General Manuel Noriega, and the somber "Talking in My Sleep," where he talks to his deceased father and the late Big Pun. On "Questions," NORE addresses his split from Def Jam and his relationship with his former partner, Capone, while he challenges any rapper to take his title on "Drink Champ."

The T-Pain-assisted "Girlfriend" and the Swizz-produced club track "Set It Off" are also included on the set.
