Following a pair of successful Los Angeles races in April, Nike is taking its Run Hit Wonder running event to New York, Portland and Chicago in the coming weeks. A Flock Of Seagulls, Dramarama and Kajagoogoo are among the bands that will perform along the 5K and 10K race route.
Also playing along the courses will be General Public, Tommy Tutone and Tone Loc. A finish line/post-race party featuring Devo is promised at each event.
The next race will be run in New York's Central Park on Thursday (July 22), followed by Portland on Aug. 1 and Chicago on Sept. 23. Registration information and details can be found on the Nike Run Hit Wonder Web site.
