New Lamb Of God Album Due In February

Comments

Metal outfit Lamb Of God will release its next Epic album in February 2009. The as-yet-untitled set is being produced by Josh Wilbur, who has worked with everyone from Staind to Pink and Steve Earle.

"We are excited change things up this time and work with Josh," drummer Chris Adler says. "We've never stayed in one place too long, and the evolution continues. There is an aggressive shift in the material and our approach. The bar has been raised."

The album follows 2006's "Sacrament," which has sold 270,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Lamb Of God is expected to unveil some new material during a previously announced support slot with Metallica, beginning Dec. 1 in Seattle.
