Naughty By Nature Signs With TVT

Naughty by Nature's Treach (Anthony Criss) and Vinnie (Vincent Brown) have inked a new recording deal with TVT Records. The two are working on a new Naughty by Nature record, tentatively titled "The Rah Rah," to be released this fall. The group's third member, KayGee (Keir Gist), will not be on the album and is no longer officially a member of the group.

The set will be the follow-up to the 1999 Arista set "19 Naughty Nine Nature's Fury," which debuted at No. 9 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and at No. 22 on The Billboard 200. The group is perhaps best known for its early '90s top-10 crossover hits "O.P.P." (No. 6) and "Hip Hop Hooray" (No. 8).

Treach, who hosts the syndicated TV show "The Source All Access," will also appear in the upcoming films "3 A.M." (directed by Spike Lee) and "Empire" (opposite John Leguizamo).
