Goodvibe/Barak/JCOR recording artist Mystic and Motown recording artist India.Arie will co-headline the first Sisters for Hip-Hop & Soul tour, Billboard Bulletin reports. The 11-date tour, sponsored by MTV2 and Vibe and hosted by WQHT New York on-air personality DJ Jazzy Joyce, will kick off Nov. 8 in Philadelphia and run through a Nov. 28 finale in Los Angeles.

In conjunction with the tour, MTV2 will tomorrow (Oct. 13) debut "MTV2 Presents: Vibe Hip-Hop Divas," a two-hour program based on the Vibe book "Hip-Hop Divas." The program, a part of MTV2's Hip-Hop Month programming, will be hosted by Vibe editor-at-large Mimi Valdes and MTV2 VJ Steph Lova and will feature music videos from the various women featured in the book.

A portion of the proceeds from the tour will benefit victims and families affected by the recent terrorist attacks on the U.S. MTV2 has pledged to match the money raised by the tour, which will be donated to United Way's September 11th Fund. The initiative complements MTV's ongoing support of the fund, to which it is donating 100% of the proceeds from sales of its "in memory" T-shirts, which feature the MTV logo emblazoned with the American Flag.
