Grammys 2012: Adele Makes a Clean Sweep on Somber Night

Adele is rolling with Grammy hardware to spare. The singer made her post-surgery comeback by winning all six of her nominations at the 2012 Grammy Awards, topping the ceremony with Album of the Year for "21" and taking home both Song and Record of the Year for "Rolling in the Deep." Instead of discussing their noms, the British folk-rockers told Billboard on the red carpet that unlike last year, they "get to hang out" and "not stress" at this year's ceremonies. Frontman Marcus Mumford called last year's Grammy experience "dream-like," and rightfully so: The band, who were nominated for Best New Artist in 2011, performed alongside the legendary Bob Dylan.

The Grammy trip also served as a break from recording their second album, which Marcus Mumford said will be released "hopefully this year." They've yet to win a Grammy, of which they've been nominated six times over the last two years, but hey, their new album and the 2013 Grammys could be the moment.
