U.S. acts Far East Movement, Mona and Willow Smith have made the MTV Networks U.K. & Ireland list of 10 emerging acts it predicts will break big in 2011.

"Blackberry Presents: Brand New For 2011" was unveiled at London's Koko venue last night (Nov. 30), with performances from British rapper/producer Labrinth, who is signed to Simon Cowell's Syco label, and Ministry of Sound's U.K. MC Wretch 32.

Labrinth made a guest appearance with headliner Tinie Tempah on the finale of "Pass Out," the U.K. No. 1 on which the pair collaborated. Tinie Tempah appeared in MTV's list of 10 acts for 2010 a year ago - that turned out to be a good call, as he didn't even appear on the BBC Online Sound of 2010 poll - along with acts including Ellie Goulding, Ke$ha, Marina and the Diamonds, Rox, Delphic, Owl City, the Drums, Drake and Justin Bieber who ultimately won the public vote.

The all-important 2011 list also includes several other U.K. artists: singer songwriters Claire Maguire, Jamie Woon and Jessie J (who wrote Miley Cyrus' "Party in the U.S.A."), R&B girl band Ruff Diamondz and indie-rock act the Vaccines.

Videos from the 10 new acts are available via MTV.

MTV Networks will give priority support to the acts across its 10 U.K. music networks. The 2010 nominees have collectively received over 3 million unique views online at MTV U.K. and more than 30,000 combined plays for their videos.

Matt Cook, director of talent and music programming, and his team meet with labels and choose the 10 acts. This the fourth year of its tips list and MTV made a conscious effort to pick a range of acts across multiple genres that have album campaigns ready to launch in the near future. "This is a long term commitment to all of these artists," he says.

Dedicated artist spotlight packages will start to run across MTV channels and voting is opened to the MTV U.K. audience to choose their favorite from Jan. 4 with the winner announced Feb. 1. MTV will present two further shows at Koko on Jan. 25 and Jan. 26.
