Morningwood, Sounds Link For N.A. Tour

Morningwood and the Sounds will hit the road together this spring in support of their respective new efforts. Starting March 22 at the Henry Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, the tour features Action Action opening for the two bands throughout.

Tickets go on sale Saturday (Feb. 18) at 10 a.m. More dates are expected to be announced at a later date.

Sweden's the Sounds is releasing "Dying to Say This to You"(New Line) on March 21 and will be previewing new material March 18 at the annual South By Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas.

Morningwood, whose self-titled Capitol debut bowed at No. 102 on The Billboard 200 last month, is in the midst of a headlining club tour through the end of the month. "I'm seeing all these shining braces and push-up bras. It's a sea of little pimples in the front row," singer Chantal Claret recently told Billboard.com. "There's a lot of girls questioning their sexuality, and a lot of young boys who are just sprouting pubic hair as they [watch] me. They're all adorable."

Action Action's sophomore album, "An Army of Shapes Between Wars" was released on Victory in January.
