Matchbox Twenty guitarist Paul Doucette and Moon Unit Zappa have called it quits, according to TMZ.
Zappa, the daughter of musician Frank Zappa, filed divorce paperwork in Los Angeles County Superior Court last week. She cited irreconcilable differences.
The former couple, who have a 7-year-old daughter, Mathilda Plum, were married in 2002.
The prodigiously named Moon Unit, the sister of Dweezil, Ahmet and Diva, has earned further recognition for an acting career that's ranged from "Grey's Anatomy" to "European Vacation." Doucette, a founding member of Matchbox Twenty, is working on solo material as the Break and Repair Method.
