Minus The Bear Touring Ahead Of New Album

Suicide Squeeze rock outfit Minus The Bear will hit the road this spring with the Honorary Title and labelmate Chin Up Chin Up. Kicking off April 26 in Seattle, the trek comes in advance of of Minus The Bear's next album, "Planet of Ice," due Aug. 21.

The set was produced by the band in tandem with Chris Common and Matt Bayles, the latter of whom has recently been behind the boards with Mastodon and Isis.

As for the Honorary Title, the group's next Doghouse/Warner Bros. album is expected this summer. "Scream and Light Up the Sky" was produced by Rob Schnapf (Elliott Smith, Guided By Voices). Chicago's Chin Up Chin Up released "This Harness Can't Ride Anything" last year.
