MTV will host a global live stream of Miley Cyrus performing new songs across its international websites.

Cyrus will perform songs from "Can't Be Tamed" (Hollywood Records/Universal) on June 21 - the release date of the album - at L.A. House of Blues.

The concert stream will be available on MTV's international websites in almost 160 countries. It takes place at 6pm PT on June 21.

A special widget will allow for live chatting, as well as the option to update social media pages directly from the widget. The performance will be available on-demand from June 22.

"I'm so excited to perform my new music live in concert on the night of my album release. Thanks to MTV, my fans from all around the world have the opportunity to be a part of it and experience it with me," said Miley Cyrus in a statement.

MTV said that Cyrus will also make her "Rock Band" debut with five songs in the game's Music Store of downloadable content for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii, including the new track "Can't Be Tamed."

Meanwhile, the Hollywood Reporter says that Cyrus is attached to star in an adaptation of Lisa McMann's young-adult paranormal thriller novel "Wake" for Paramount Pictures and MTV Films. "Disturbia" co-writer Christopher Landon will adapt the book for the screen.
