Miley Cyrus and her Australian actor boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, have ended their well-publicized relationship, reports celebrity news website Gossip Cop.

Although Cyrus' people remain mum on the split, Us Weekly confirmed the news via Hemsworth's rep Wednesday.

The pair met last year on the set of "The Last Song," based on the Nicholas Sparks novel. The movie, released in theaters in March, debuted atop the home video sales charts.

Cyrus is currently filming the teen comedy "LOL: Laughing Out Loud," co-starring Ashley Greene, Thomas Jane and Demi Moore. According to a leaked script, the coming-of-age story features Cyrus' character, Lola, losing her virginity, constantly discussing sex, smoking marijuana and showing her mother (Moore) her Brazilian wax.

Hemsworth is preparing to begin production on adventure movie "Arabian Nights," co-starring Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins.
