Mick Jagger, Jerry Hall Officially Split

Comments

Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall have "amicably and formally agreed to separate" following a 12-minute hearing at London's High Court today. Details of the settlement between the couple are not being revealed, but Hall was believed to be seeking £30m, custody of the couple's children and their house in the London suburb of Richmond.

Hall claimed adultery by Jagger. A statement issued on behalf of both parties said that the couple's "friendship and mutual admiration will endure." The couple had been involved for 22 years and married for eight; they have four children.

As recently as last month there had been conjecture that the couple might not split. Hall's attendance at a Rolling Stones' club show June 8 in London prompted a wave of press speculation regarding whether the two were considering an eleventh-hour reprieve.
