Method Man, Redman Ask 'How High'

With rappers Method Man and Redman starring in the upcoming smoke-fest film "How High," it's appropriate that new and classic tracks from the duo lace the flick's Def Jam soundtrack. Due out Dec. 11, the set will be led by the single "Round and Round (Remix)," by Jonell and Method Man. The b-side will boast "Cisco Kid" by Method Man and Redman, featuring Cypress Hill and War.

Among the notable tracks included on the set are the duo's "How High" and "Da Rockwilder," which both appeared on Method Man and Redman's 1999 album "Blackout." Also featured is "N2gether Now" by hard rock act Limp Bizkit with Method Man. More information on the soundtrack will be soon be available via a page on the label's official Web site, which notes that Method Man and Redman recently shot a video for the track "Part II" at Brooklyn (N.Y.) College.

Directed by Jesse Dylan, "How High" stars Method Man as a botanical wiz named Silas and Redman as his slacker sidekick Jamal. With IQ's boosted by a strain of high-powered marijuana developed by Silas, the hip-hop Cheech & Chong land scholarships to Harvard. But as their supply dwindles, they're forced to find creative ways to keep their grades up to snuff. Due to open in U.S. theaters Dec. 21, the film also features Spalding Gray, Mike Epps, Hector Elizondo, and Fred Willard.
