Meat Beat To Open On Prodigy Tour

Industrial-music progenitor Meat Beat Manifesto is the opening act on Prodigy's North American tour, to commence June 16 in Washington, D.C. Other dates on the two-week outing include June 18 in Seattle, June 22 in Chicago, June 24 in Detroit, June 6 in Atlanta, and June 29-30 in New York . . . Spacehog, Iggy Pop, X, Cheap Trick, Mudhoney, Frank Black, Goodness, and the Murder City Devils will each open dates on Pearl Jam's U.S. tour, which starts June 20 in Missoula, Montana, and runs through Sept. 18 . . . Outpost act Days Of The New joins Metallica on a tour of North American arenas launching June 24 in West Palm Beach, Fla. The groups will visit over 30 cities before wrapping up Sept. 11 in Phoenix.
