Roots rock artist Delbert McClinton will gather such fellow musicians as John Hiatt, Asleep At The Wheel, Sonny Landreth, Marcia Ball and Tommy Castro for his 10th Sandy Beaches Cruise, which sets sail Jan. 11 from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

Other acts confirmed for the cruise include Bekka Bramlett, Fred Eaglesmith, Teresa James and the Rhythm Traps and Wayne Toups & Zydecajun. Beyond constant live performances, the journey boasts port calls in Half Moon Bay, Bahamas; the Virgin Islands; and Tortola. For more information, visit McClinton's official Web site.

Last year's cruise featured Del McCoury, the Derailers and a number of the same performers who will be on board in January. McClinton is about to begin a U.S. tour in support of his latest New West album, "Live," which debuted at No. 31 on Billboard's Top Independent Albums tally.
