Following a sold-out summer tour, Maxwell will hit the road again this fall in support of his hit comeback album, "BLACKsummers'night." The Live Nation-produced trek, which upgrades from theaters to larger-capacity arenas, begins at Toronto's Air Canada Centre Sept. 25 and continues through Oct. 26 in San Francisco. Additional dates are expected to be announced soon.
Common and Chrisette Michele will support the fall dates for Maxwell, whose summer tour featured Michele and Irish R&B singer Laura Izibor as the openers. Tickets go on sale Aug. 14 at livenation.com.
In July, Maxwell returned from a six-year hiatus with "BLACKsummers'night," his fourth studio album. The release debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and has sold 550,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
